Edmund “Ted” Rennie

1949 ∼ 2018

Edmund “Ted” Rennie, 68, of Cotuit, died at Falmouth Hospital on February 5, 2018. Born on July 21, 1949, son of the late Thomas & Sally (Bearse) Rennie, and loving husband of Gael (McDevitt) Rennie. After Military service Ted married Gael McDevitt of Duxbury and started a career working for New Bedford Gas & Electric reaching the position of High Voltage Lineman as the company changed from New Bedford Gas & Electric to Com Electric to NSTAR to Northeast Utilities to Eversource. Ted was a true Cape Codder in every way; he spent his years living in Cotuit leaving only to serve his country as a Naval Seabee in Vietnam, Bolivia and Puerto Rico. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 10, 2018 in Mosswood Cemetery, Putnam Ave., Cotuit, where he will be laid to rest next to his parents.
