Edna J. Ferbert

Edna J. Ferbert, 101 died peacefully on April 7, 2019 in the comfort of her family. Edna grew up in West Bridgewater, daughter of the late Herbert and Jeanette (Proper) Conant and attended West Bridgewater Schools. She was born in 1917 and grew up on a farm. Her first husband Vincent Wood, whom she had three children died at the age of 28. A few years later, Edna would meet the love of her life Henry Ferbert and the two would raise the kids on Orange Street. She was a dedicated homemaker whom was a fantastic cook. Her flower gardens were the envy of the neighborhood and she loved camping, traveling, and being with her family. She kept busy late in life as her talents for refinishing antique furniture became her favorite hobby.  Edna was the loving wife of the late Henry Ferbert. Mother of the late Walter Wood, Gerri (Wood) Irving of Taunton, and the late Karen Roderick. Proud “Grandmother” of  16, “Great Grandmother” of 37, and “Great Great Grandmother” of 29.  All are cordially invited to a graveside service at Pine Hill Cemetery on Mon. April 15th at 10:00am.
