Her love of languages and dedication to learning continued well beyond college as she began studying Italian through the Falmouth Community School.
After retiring to North Falmouth in 1979, Eleanore and her husband Roger enjoyed the beauty and ambiance of living ‘year-round’ on Cape Cod. Eleanore loved being a grandmother and her four grandchildren brought tremendous joy to her life and especially enjoyed spending summers with them ‘at the Cape’.
Eleanore and Roger fulfilled their dream of travelling to their favorite destinations in Europe and North America. The opportunity to personally experience the Greek and Italian ruins, as well as European cities and villages were some of the highlights of her life.
