Emma D. Francis

Emma Drew Francis, 19, of East Freetown MA and formerly of Assonet MA, passed away on July 1, 2018.

Emma was born in Plantation FL and educated in the Freetown and Lakeville MA school system. She attended Old Colony Regional Vocational Technical High School in Rochester and graduated from Middleboro High School in December 2017. She was also a certified nursing assistant.

Emma worked as a nanny to three amazing boys, Hank, Will and Jude. She was loving, caring, funny and goofy. She always put other people’s needs above her own and stood up for what she believed in. Emma enjoyed spending time with her friends and family and loved all of her animals. She was a big kid at heart and loved playing with her cousins and nephews. She was really looking forward to her first niece, due in the fall. Emma also enjoyed going to the beach, swimming, playing Sims and watching reality TV and movies.

She is survived by her parents, Josh and Stacey Francis and her sister Lexi Francis, all of East Freetown; her grandparents, Ted and Patty Lukac of Centerville; her grandparents, Ken and Deb Conley and her nephews, Jamison and Dana, all of East Falmouth; her boyfriend, Josh Bairos of Taunton; and many extended family and friends.  She was predeceased by her sister, Kaeli Conley of East Falmouth and her grandfather, Patrick Francis of Stoughton.

Visiting hours will be held from 6-8pm on Tuesday, July 10, at Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 475 Main Street, Falmouth. A eulogy followed by funeral Mass will begin at 9:45am on Wednesday, July 11 at St. Patrick Church, 511 Main St, Falmouth. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery, Gifford Street, Falmouth.
