Eunice M. Monteiro

Eunice M. (Tryggestad) Monteiro, 92, of East Bridgewater and formerly of Pembroke died on Dec. 29, 2016 at Wingate at Silverlake in Kingston.  She was the wife of the late Nicholas Monteiro and the daughter of the late Otto and Olga (Knutson) Tryggestad. 

Eunice was born in Viroqua, Wisconsin and was a member of the East Bridgewater United Methodist Church.  She enjoyed sewing, cross stitch, gardening and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Sharon Lang of Maine, Donna Moynihan and her husband Kevin of East Bridgewater, Diane Svendsen and her husband Neil of Holliston, Joyce White and her husband Thomas of East Bridgewater, Steven Monteiro and his wife Christine of Weymouth, and Kenneth Monteiro and his wife Christine of Plymouth; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Jason, Michael, Brian, and Christopher.  Eunice is also survived by her great grandchildren, Alexa and Lia.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 4th at 11:00 AM at East Bridgewater United Methodist Church, 54 N. Central St., East Bridgewater.
