Eugenia “Genie” Adraneda, life-long resident of Raynham died peacefully on June 20, after a valiant fight with cancer. Genie was the loving daughter of Antonio and Socorro Adraneda.

She was a graduate of Bridgewater-Raynham High School. She attended Boston University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Upon graduation Genie pursued her medical degree in the Philippines at the
University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center. She graduated from UERM Medical School in 2003 and always cherished her time there with family and friends. Genie was the beloved sister of Anthony Adraneda and his wife Cristina of Norton, Marilen Adraneda-Horan and her husband Kevin of Raynham, and Allan Adraneda and his wife Van of Quincy. She was the proud Aunt of Gabriel, Ronan, and Olivia; whom she was god-mother of also.

Genie was also god- mother to her nephew Cameron Calloway of Canada and Orion Guanzon of Lynchburg, Virginia. She is also survived by many loving, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

All are cordially invited to a funeral procession from the Prophett-Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. Bridgewater on Thurs. June 27 th at 10:00am. A Mass of Christian will be celebrated at St. Ann Church, 660 N. Main St. Raynham at 11:00am. Burial will be private. Visitation, Wed June 26 th from 4pm-8pm at the funeral home.
