George A. Paoli

George A. Paoli, 78, died peacefully at Cape Cod Hospital on April 26, 2019 surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Mairead (Keane) Paoli. They would have been married 50 years this October.

Born in New York City, he was the son of Ettore & Carmella Paoli. He was a graduate of Iona College. He was employed at Honeywell, Inc. in Brighton and Newton for 33 years. George was very proud of his service in the U.S. Navy.  

He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He will be sadly missed by his wife Mairead, daughters and sons-in-law, Susanne & Ricky, Adrienne & Marc, grandchildren Ian & Isabella, his brother Robert, niece Ellen and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on from 4:00-7:00 p.m on Friday May 3rd at Morris, O’Connor & Blute Funeral Home. 58 Long Pond Drive, South Yarmouth, MA 02664. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 4th at St. Pius X Church, Station Ave., South Yarmouth, MA. There will be a private burial at a later date.

We are most grateful to the Cape Cod Hospital Staff for their wonderful care of George on his many admissions there and to Liberty Commons Rehabilitation Center & Care...From the Heart, LLC. home care agency.
