Heather I. Jonas

Heather Irene Jonas, of Marstons Mills, passed away surrounded by loved ones on Sunday, September 9, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Barnstable, MA to Proctor Jr. and Geraldine (Smith) Adams on September 15, 1953, she grew up in Dennis and graduated from Barnstable High School. She devoted her life to raising her beloved boys and serving others.

She enjoyed the ocean and beach, gardening, reading, and more than anything, spending time with family and friends.

She was the beloved wife of Theodore Jonas and the cherished mother of Michael Meagher, Jr. and his wife Michelle, Matthew Meagher and his wife Erin and Timothy Meagher and his wife Andrea, all of Barnstable, MA. She was the proud and adoring grandmother of McKenna, Michael, Meghan, Rowan, Matthew, Timothy, Emerson and Camden Meagher. She leaves behind sisters and brothers - Proctor (Skip) Adams, III (predeceased), Curt Adams, Wayne and Lois Adams, Alyson Adams and Butch Tropp and Cheryl and Bob Marrs as well as many treasured nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.

Friends and family are invited to honor and remember Heather by gathering for a memorial visitation on Friday, September 14, 2018 from 4pm - 6pm at John Lawrence Funeral Home, 3778 Falmouth Road, Marstons Mills, MA
