Helen Rose Rando

Born in Dorchester, Massachusetts on May 25, 1924, Helen Rose (Paino) Rando, daughter of John and Jennie (LoSchiavo) Paino, passed away on May 5, 2020, at the age of 95.

Helen was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John. She is survived by her children JoAnne (Rando) Kuzdzal of Huffman, Texas, John A. Rando, Jr. and Linda M. Rando of Pocasset, Mass., grandchildren Seth Kuzdzal, Todd Kuzdzal, Shanna Kuzdzal and Jennie Kuzdzal Fick, their spouses and nine great grandchildren.

Helen was kindness personified, and her love of gardening and baking were enjoyed by all who were fortunate enough to know her. An aspiring artist in her youth, she married John and raised a family in Wellesley. Throughout her life, she contributed to her community, most recently by donating handmade jewelry and baked goods to the Bourne Council on Aging’s Holiday Craft Fair to benefit the Bourne Friends Food Pantry.

A funeral mass will be held on Monday, May 11th at St. John the Evangelist Church, Pocasset, MA. As capacity is severely limited, the family invites you to attend virtually at www.stjohnspocasset.org/livestream at 10:00 am.
