Howard B. Larsen

1933 ∼ 2018

Howard B. Larsen of Bridgewater died July 31, 2018 in the Tufts New England Medical Center in Boston at the age of 85 surrounded by his loving family. Howard was born in Brockton, son of the late Dorothy (Goss) and Lawrence Larsen and was raised and educated in Easton graduating from Oliver Ames High School. He was a proud Korean War Veteran.

Howard’s passion to meet people led him to a lifelong successful career in automotive sales and management. He was an avid fisherman who loved reading, playing cribbage, and gardening. He loved traveling to Ireland and Europe with his beloved wife and spent his summers camping on Cape Cod and Maine with his 10 children. 

Beloved husband of 64 years to  Nora (O’Shea)  Larsen of Bridgewater and Tullig Inch, Co. Kerry, Ireland.  Loving father of  Stephen  and his wife Sandy of Taunton,  Paul and his wife Patty of Sagamore Beach, Chris and his wife Pamela of Plymouth, Howard and his wife Sharon of Bridgewater, Ron and his wife Della of Canton, Nancy (Behenna-Tradd) and her husband John of Foxboro,  John and his wife Laurie of Tewksbury, Tim of Lewisville Texas, and Beth (Peck) and her husband Mike of Stoughton. He was the father of the late  Brian Larsen. Brother of Barbara Persson of Bridgewater.  Also survived and adored by 17 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Funeral from the Prophett-Chapman Cole& Gleason Funeral Home 98 Bedford Street Bridgewater Saturday August 4th at 9:00am.

Funeral Mass in St. Thomas Aquinas Church at 10:00am.

Visiting hours Friday, August 3rd from 3-7pm.

Burial in Washington Street Cemetery, Norwell.

In Lieu of flowers donations in honor of Howard may be made to the Perkins School for the Blind 175 North Beacon Street Watertown, MA 02472.
