Jeffrey A. Chase

Jeffrey Alan Chase, 66, of Osterville, passed away suddenly on February 7, 2018.

Born at Cape Cod Hospital on November 16, 1951.  Jeff was a Barnstable High School graduate and went on to serve on the Barnstable Police Department for 27 years.  He served as the C.O.M.M Fire Commissioner for 15 years.  He was a friend of Bill W. for over 40 years and gave so much of himself in helping others.

Jeff’s favorite past times were the Bruins, attending Aerosmith concerts and spending time with his family, especially his daughters, grandchildren and the love of his life Kath.

Jeff is survived by his mother Marilyn F. Chase, his daughters Jessica A. Terry and Kelsey P. Chase, his partner Kath Ward and her daughter Terese Coulon, his grandchildren Chase, Joseph, Jeffrey, Jackson and soon to be born Jacoby.  He is also survived by his children’s mother, Kathryn Silva and his sister’s Carol Chase Harlow and Betsy Chase Alper, as well as his longtime friend/brother Jeffrey Fuller.

Visiting hours will be from 3 to 6 pm on Sunday, February 11th at the John-Lawrence Funeral Home, 3778 Falmouth Rd., Marstons Mills, MA.  A memorial service will begin at 6 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his honor to the Barnstable Police, Michael K. Aselton Scholarship Fund, Michael K. Aselton Scholarship Fund, PO Box B, Hyannis, MA 02601 Attn: Sgt. Tynan or to the C.O.M.M Gift Account, 1875 Falmouth Rd., Centerville, MA  02632
