Jessica Hanlon

Jessica Hanlon, 39, of Harwich passed away unexpectedly surrounded by her family on Wednesday, October 23, 2019.

Born on July 3, 1980, she grew up on Cape Cod. Jessica was a natural actress, talented singer and musician and spent many years in her youth working at the Harwich Jr. Theatre. She graduated from Harwich High School and most recently was working with special needs adults. Loved by everyone she knew her spirit was unstoppable, and her love is irreplaceable in our hearts.

Jessi, for whatever reasons we may never understand, God has taken you home to sing with the Angels. As you look down upon us from heaven, I know you will shine upon all the lives you touched. We will always love you, never forget you and always keep you close in our hearts and celebrate the life, love, tenderness and kindness you showed us all.

Jessica is survived by her mother Paula Holmes Valentino of Harwich, stepfather Frank Valentino of Caribou Maine, her father Michael Hanlon and wife Espie of West Yarmouth. Also leaves behind her grandparents Rose and Warren Holmes of Harwich and grandmother Dorothy Desmarais of West Yarmouth. She is also survived by two sisters, Crystal Burlingame of Wilmington, North Carolina and Jennie Valentino of Caribou, Maine.

Services will be private

“He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”
