Jill N. Thrasher-McCormack

Jill N. Thrasher-McCormack, 73, of Mashpee formerly of California, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on May 3, 2018. She was the beloved wife of Dennis McCormack and daughter of the late Jewell and (Verl) Jean Nobles.

Jill attended Wilson High School in Long Beach California. She worked as a flight attendant for many years. Jill loved to volunteer for the Audible Local Ledger on Cape Cod. She enjoyed reading to the blind and also volunteering at the St. Vincent De Paul food pantry in Mashpee. She had a daycare center at home and in her spare time had a great skill in stained glass making. Most of all she enjoyed her family. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew her.

In addition to her loving husband Dennis of 39 years, Jill is survived by 3 children, Jaymie Kunkel and husband Tim of Wisconsin, Eric Thrasher of California, Janna Thrasher and Shawn Bourassa of Wisconsin, 2 grandchildren Eva and Vaughn Bourassa. She was predeceased by her sister Janice Harding. A committal service will be held at Great Neck Woods Cemetery on Saturday May 19, 2018 at 11am followed by a memorial gathering at the Cape Codder in Hyannis at 12:30pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Audible Local Ledger 681 Falmouth Rd # C14, Mashpee, MA 02649.
