John “Bubba” James

John "Bubba" James, of Hyannis, passed unexpectedly in his home February 5th, 2017.

John James was born on July 14th, 1969 in Boston, MA to his parents Johnny and Carolyn James. He was a caring and loving man who took pride in his family and friends. John was a chef who worked at Spanky's Clam Shack and Barbyannes Restaurant for the past 15 years, where his friends and coworkers knew him as "JJ".

John is survived by his sons Steven and Derryck Carpenter; his daughter Daina Carpenter and granddaughter Amira Carpenter; his sisters Carolyn and Maeleen James; and his nephew Tracy James. 

All are welcome to celebrate the life of John James at funeral services which will take place at John Lawrence Funeral Home Sunday, February 12th at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, a GoFundMe has been established and all additional funds on top of services will be put into an educational fund for his granddaughter.
