John Rantuccio

John D. Rantuccio, 73, of Plympton, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2018. He was the beloved son of the late Domenic and Virginia Rantuccio.

Born in Boston, John worked at the MBTA for 25 years until his retirement. He was also the lead trainer for the MBTA drivers. He was a great mechanic and loved riding, motorcycles, especially Harley Davidson and dirt bikes. He was a member of the Pilgrim Trail Riders. He was also a gun enthusiast and was a member of the Upland Sportmans Club in Plympton. He served in the United States Coast guard reserve as well. He was a loving brother, and friend and will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew him.

John is survived by his brothers James Rantuccio of Mashpee, Paul Rantuccio and wife Susan of Monticello, FL, Kevin Rantuccio and wife Anne of Mashpee, 6 nieces and nephews, Amanda, Kristen, Christopher, Kelly, Matthew, Andrew, and his loving goddaughter Bonnie Lehigh.

A committal service will be held at Sandwich Town Cemetery on Saturday September 29, 2018 at 10:00am.
