Joseph C. Abbott

Joseph C. Abbott, age 63, of South Dennis formerly of Boston passed unexpectedly on August 7 of natural causes. Joseph is survived by his wife Francine, six children, ten grandchildren and one great grandson. Joseph was the son of the late Joseph C. Abbott and survived by his mother Beverly F. Abbott of Boston, along with six siblings. Joseph leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and long time friends. 

Joseph was employed by Willy's Gym and Wellness Center of Eastham. He enjoyed spending time with his family, children and grandchildren whom he adored.  He was a man of many jokes always spreading laughter and love among those people who he enjoyed the most.  He was a man of many talents, dancing especially and would cut a rug whenever possible.

Joseph is survived by his children Sean Pasche Abbott, Jibril Antar, Brandon Abbott, Nicole Abbott DeCost, Daoud Antar and Jamal Antar.  His grandchildren Imari Antar, Tyrique Antar, Ajani Antar, Solomon Antar, Nayomi Abbott, Isaac Antar, Amaya Abbott, Milo Abbott, Jocelyn Griffin, Mia DeCost and great grandson, Aiden.

Siblings: Joanne and her late husband, Adolf Bellizeare, Cheryl Abbott and Tommy Royal, Sharon Chatman, Keith Abbott and Lissette Rodrigues, Julie and Bill Kent, Roberta and Jerry Blanton.  He will be missed terribly by his love, Francine and his children and grandchildren, mother, siblings and many family and friends.

We will be celebrating Joe's life on Sunday, August 11th from 5-8pm at Morris, O'Connor and Blute at 58 Long Pond Drive South Yarmouth, MA 02664.
