Joseph F. Goggin, Jr

Joseph F. Goggin, Jr., 72, of East Falmouth, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2018. He was born in Boston to the late Joseph and Mary (O’Keefe) Goggin.

He served in the US Marine Corps during Vietnam. He worked in numerous different trades while living on the Cape. Joe was also a member of the Amvets Post 70 and the Mashpee VFW Post 5489.

Joseph is survived by his Beloved Partner of 24 years Linda Basey of East Falmouth, two children Joseph Goggin & Kelly Goggin of Dedham, three sisters Mary Dewan & late husband Paul of West Roxbury, Patricia Keyo and husband Frederick of Westwood and Sheila Goggin and John of North Attleboro, as well as numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and many friends especially his close dear friends Paul O'Donnell & Bruce Sharpe. He was loved by his Amvets family.

Visiting hours will be held from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, Feb. 13 at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 475 Main Street, Falmouth Center. A brief visitation will also be held in the funeral home from 10:00 am to 10:30 am on Wednesday, Feb. 14 followed by an 11:00 am interment at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Joe’s name to the Disabled Veterans National Foundation.
