Joseph Louis Mazzucchelli, Jr. age 79, passed away surrounded by family at his home in Quincy, MA on December 1, 2018.

Joe is survived by his wife Elizabeth (Cotter) of forty-two years. He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Lillian (Bendinelli) Mazzucchelli. Also survived by his sister Louise and her husband Michael Scipione and sisters-in-law Helena Poplasky, Alicia and her husband Paul Heneghan, and Margaret and her husband John Dawe, and predeceased by Bridget and John O’Malley and George Poplasky.  He is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Joe was born in Dorchester, MA on March 24, 1939. He graduated from Boston College High School, attended Boston College and Bentley College. Joe worked in management at Arkwright Boston Insurance for many years. After a career in the insurance industry, he continued to work for 6 years at the Mashpee Town Hall. He also served as administrator of Cape Cares Clinic to Honduras.

Joe was a devoted parishioner of Christ the King Parish in Mashpee, where he served as an usher and Eucharistic minister.

Visiting hour will be held at 10:00AM at Christ the King Parish, 3 Job’s Fishing Road, Mashpee on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 followed by funeral mass at 11:00AM.

Interment will be private.
