Joyce M. (Brown) Murphy, 79, of Bridgewater died on April 10, 2017 at Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital.  She was the daughter of the late Patrick and Marie (Hampston) Brown.

Joyce M. (Brown) Murphy, 79, of Bridgewater died on April 10, 2017 at Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital.  She was the daughter of the late Patrick and Marie (Hampston) Brown.

Joyce enjoyed going on vacation, loved traveling, and the ocean.  She loved spending time with her family and was a proud grandmother to all of her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Annmarie McDermott and her husband Thomas of Bridgewater, Joyce Keaton and her husband Don of South Boston, Frank Murphy and his Fiancé Tara Romeo of Lee, William Murphy and his wife Kathy of Lee, and Patrick Murphy of Bridgewater; grandmother of Meghan, Molly, Alanna, Victoria, Luke, Julia, Shane, Sadie, Leah, Shannon, Patrick, and Katie.  Joyce is also survived by her siblings, Thomas Brown and his wife Nancy, James Brown and his wife Mimi, Patricia Mackin and her husband John, Marie Analoro and her husband Richard, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at the Prophett-Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St., Bridgewater on Mon, April 17, 2017 from 8:30-10:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 103 Center St., Bridgewater at 11:00 AM.  Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 15829, Arlington, VA 22215.
