Judith Frances Lewison

Judith Frances (Taylor) Lewison, 94, of Mashpee, formerly of Dennis, passed away peacefully at Royal of Cotuit on June 23, 2020. She was the beloved wife of the late Wesley Lewison and daughter of the late Edward and Madeline Taylor.

Judith was born in Dennis and attended Dennis public schools. Judith loved Cape Cod and enjoyed walking the beaches especially with her husband Wesley. She and her husband also loved to spend time on Monomoscoy Island. Her greatest passion was raising her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and will be dearly missed by all who loved her.

Judith is survived by her son Michael Lewison and wife Linda of Sandwich; her brother Zenas Taylor of Dennis; her sister Esther Carvalho of Mashpee; 6 grandchildren, Keith, Krista, Kim, Wesley, Spencer, Andrea; 14 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and her nieces Brenda, Jean, and Marisa. She was predeceased by her son Wesley E. Lewison and daughter Esther Lewison.

The family would like to send a special thank you to the Royal of Cotuit Nursing Home for their kind and loving care for Judith at such a difficult time.

A funeral service will be held at the Chapman Cole and Gleason Funeral Home, 74 Algonquin Ave., (RTE 151) Mashpee on Tuesday June 30, 2020 at 10:00am. A private burial will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
