Judith DeVellis, 90, of Sandwich, formerly of Reading, passed away peacefully at Cape Cod Hospital on February 16, 2021. She was the beloved wife of Gennaro “Frank” DeVellis and daughter of the late Francis and May DeWolfe.

Judy’s lifelong commitment was to her home and family. She was the center of all family occasions. Her love of cooking and her warm smile made every event a memory. She loved everyone and would befriend anyone. Judy spent her time as a member of the Sandwich Garden Club, volunteer at the council of aging, and housekeeping, which she prided herself in. Judy will be sorely missed as she was the light of love everywhere she went. She will especially be missed by her other love, her Maltese Lucy.

In addition to her husband Frank of 69 years, Judy is survived by her sons, Richard DeVellis and wife Pam of Plymouth, David DeVellis and wife Evy of Athol, Francis DeVellis and wife Heather of Beverly, nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A visitation will be held Friday February 26, 2021 from 11:00am to 12:30pm at Chapman Cole and Gleason Funeral Home 74 Algonquin Ave. Mashpee, Ma 02649. A service will follow at 12:30pm. Burial will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Catholic Charities 275 W Broadway, Boston, MA 02127.
