Lawrence A. Farias

Lawrence A. Farias 75, a resident of Falmouth since his childhood lost his battle with Parkinson’s disease. Born in Greenville, South Carolina he moved here with his parents as a young boy.

He attended Falmouth schools and graduated from College in South Carolina.  For many years Larry was a salesman for Clausen Chevrolet dealership in Falmouth. His love for cars stayed with him thru out the years.  He was easily recognized driving his always sparkling clean new car sporting his # 9 license plate. He then opened is own real estate business Eagle Realty which he operated until 5 years ago. He would make his rounds every day to visit old and new friends always with a smile, to say hello bearing gifts of pastries, candy, and maple syrup from Vermont.  Larry had many passions in life and lived his life to the fullest with his extensive traveling.  He was an avid hunter and sportsman, a longtime member of the Falmouth Rod and Gun Club which was one of his favorite Clubs where he could talk about hunting and fishing with all the guys. In his younger years he traveled extensively around the world hunting and fishing. He ultimately built a hunting lodge in Canada and operated Big Bear Lodge with guided hunting expeditions.  He then found his new favorite place Aruba, which he visited over 25 times.  He looked forward to those warm sunny vacations and would plan the next visit as soon as he returned from his last one.  Rest in peace my friend, until we meet again.

Larry is predeceased by his Father Lawrence Farias and his mother Christine Farias.  A special thank you to all of the kind care takers at JML who personally had compassion and kindness towards Larry.
