Leo M. Norton Jr. (Marty) born in Malden to Katherine (Sorensen) and Leo M. Norton Sr.  Survived by his wife of 72 years, Marietta (Harney), 11 children, Gary Norton and his recently deceased wife Sandy, Patricia Dunn, Arlene Santagate and her husband Angelo, Daniel Norton and his wife Kimberly, Lawrence Norton and his wife Maureen, Katherine Norton-Edge and her husband William, Susan Norton and her husband Peter, Gail Damon and her husband Frank, Leo M. Norton III and his partner Rose, Brian Norton and Ann Marie Norton and her partner Chris.  Grandfather to 13 and Great Grandfather to 19 beautiful children.  Pre-deceased by brothers Alfred Norton and Edward Norton, survived by siblings Rosemary Morris, Richard Norton, Paul Norton, Kathleen Magner, sister in law Elizabeth Norton and many loving nieces and nephews.  Marty was a graduate of BC High School and Boston College and was a WWII Navy veteran.  He was an active member of the Irish American Club of Malden and the Elks.  His career as a pharmaceutical representative spanned many years and he was also a beloved Funeral Director for most of his life.  He and Marietta enjoyed their retirement years in Sarasota, Florida before moving back to Massachusetts in August 2020. A funeral Mass and Christian burial will be private.  Donations in his honor can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or any charity of your choice.
