Leonard A. Heikkila “Allan”

Leonard A. Heikkila "Allan" of Lakeville, died October 31, 2017 in the loving arms of his family at the age of 75. Allan was born in Wareham, son of the late Aili (Piispanen) and Leonard Heikkila. He was raised in Carver and graduated from the New Bedford Trade School and was a loyal employee of Forni Brothers as an Oil Burner technician for many years until he retired. 
 
His one and only pleasure was freshwater bass fishing. He could spend countless hours doing so, usually at night, because if he wasn't working he was always helping others. He also enjoyed gambling with his wife, playing slots on the computer and Sunday Dinner with his family. 

Beloved husband of Angie (Gregory) Heikkila of Lakeville. Proud father of Lenny & Suzanne Heikkila of Middleboro, Toni & Sean Hennessey of Bridgewater, Brian & Janice Heikkila of Lakeville, Robin & Edward Paull of Brockton, Jeffrey & Suzanne Heikkila of Middleboro and Tina & Robert Mallard of Brockton.  Brother of Barbara Cornwell of Wareham, Eleanor Robbins of Lakeville, Elmi Robbins of Middleboro and the late Roger Heikkila of Carver.  Allan is also survived by 12 grandchildren, David & Adam Heikkila, Sean & Mark Hennessey, Kyle & Korey Paull, Kurt & Brody Heikkila, Colton Heikkila, Gabriella, Olivia &  Jackson Mallard and a great grandson Jayce Heikkila.  Allan joins his grandchildren Krystina Hennessey and Jesse Heikkila in Heaven.  

Visiting hours will begin in the Prophett-Chapman Cole & Gleason Funeral Home 98 Bedford Street Bridgewater on Tuesday November 7th at 4:00pm  and conclude with a Service in the funeral home at 7:00pm.
