Linda Irene (Pacheco) Hammond

Linda Irene (Pacheco) Hammond, beloved mother, aunt and sister, has passed and gone home to be with God on January 22, 2021.  She passed peacefully surrounded by her family. Linda was born in 1948 and raised on Cape Cod. She was proud of her heritage, both the Portuguese side and her Mayflower ancestors. She was recently widowed from her husband, John Hammond, after celebrating 20 years of marriage. Linda had earned her Associates degree at Cape Cod Community College and worked as a bookkeeper for many years at Woelfel & Sons in Harwich. She was a survivor of breast cancer and enjoyed participating in breast cancer awareness activities. She enjoyed the Cape Cod Symphony.  She was an avid reader and a believer in Jesus Christ. Linda’s favorite pastime was having conversations with her family and friends who meant everything to her. Linda is predeceased by her sisters Donna Thistle, Diana Currier, and Karen Ferreira. Linda is survived by her son Daniel Pacheco, her sister Cathy Pacheco, her brother Ron Pacheco, her sister of her heart Carol LeGeyt, her nephews Shawn Enos, Timothy Thistle, Jimmy Currier and her nieces, Elizabeth Montiero, Karalee Medvitz, Donna Currier, Theresa Thistle and all of their children (Katrina, Nicholas, Chloe, Cody, Matthew, Megan, James, Kirsten, and Karley) and her much adored cat, Victor.
