Lois A. Turner

1944 ∼ 2017

Lois A. Turner (Joyce) of East Bridgewater died December 30, 2017 in the Brockton Hospital at the age of 73. Lois was born in Quincy, daughter of the late Margaret (Coose) and William Joyce and was raised and educated in Braintree. Lois graduated from Northeastern University earning a Bachelors and Master’s Degree. She was a librarian at the Bridgewater Public Library for 15 years. Lois was an avid reader and a member of the East Bridgewater Public Library Book Club. She also enjoyed knitting and counter cross stitch. During the last several years she enjoyed various activities with her granddaughter Margaret. 

Wife of Thomas R. Turner. Mother of Amy E. Turner of East Bridgewater, Melissa A. Turner of Manomet and Jennifer A. Turner and her husband Eric Wakeman of Quincy. Grandmother of Margaret A. E. Turner -Wakeman and the late Irene L. A. Turner-Wakeman.

Funeral Services for Lois will be private, and a Celebration of Life Service will be held in the Spring.
