Marcia Tavares

1928 ∼ 2016

Marcia Tavares, 88, a lifelong resident of Falmouth died on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at the Royal Nursing Center, Falmouth. She was the widow of Raymond Tavares, Falmouth, who died in 2012. Her first husband, Robert H. Schroeder also predeceased her. They were married for many decades at the time of his death. Mrs. Tavares was the daughter of Lawrence and M. Louise Scott Wright.  She was a graduate of Lawrence High School.  She is survived by her son Steven R. Schroeder and his wife Nancy of West Falmouth.

Marcia worked as a nurse in the Falmouth Hospital emergency room. She loved books, gardening and tropical birds.  She was also an avid dog owner often raised several dogs at a time Marcia was a member of St Barnabas Episcopal Church in Falmouth.
