Maria I.  DeAndrade

Maria I.  DeAndrade (Rodrigues) of Bridgewater died  August 2nd 2017  in her home in Bridgewater at the age of 83. Maria was born in St. Michael Portugal, daughter of the late  Hortence Rodrigues and Alfred Cabral and moved to the United States in 1952.    Maria worked for the E T Wright Shoe factory in Rockland in her younger years. She spent most of her time caring for her family. Maria  loved cooking and feeding everyone  and was very talented at sewing and embroidery  She was known for her great  sense of humor and generosity. 

Wife of the late Joseph  DeAndrade.  Mother of  Joseph M. DeAndrade of Bridgewater, Dorothy M. DeAndrade-Chase of East Bridgewater and Albert DeAndrade of Bridgewater. Maria  is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many dear friends. She was the grandmother of the late Yvonne Blauss.

Funeral from the Prophett-Chapman Cole & Gleason Funeral Home 98 Bedford Street Bridgewater Wednesday August 16th at 8:30am. 

Funeral Mass in St. Thomas Aquinas Church Bridgewater at  9:30am.

Visiting hours Tuesday, August 15th from  4-7pm.

Burial in St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery, Bridgewater.
