While living in Mashpee, Marian held positions in the Greenwood Neighborhood Association. Marian loved the community and volunteered at the Mashpee Senior Center for several years assisting in their outreach program.
Marian and her husband loved to travel and were fortunate to see many places in the world together. While tropical islands were her favorite places to be, she spent a lot of her leisure time painting in several types of media. Some of her work was sold at local art and craft fairs.
