Marilyn D’Andrea

Marilyn D’Andrea, 79, of Buzzards Bay, passed away peacefully at Keystone Assisted Living on April 7, 2017. She was the beloved wife of A. Edward D’Andrea and daughter of the late Leo and Anna Farrelly.

Marilyn graduated with a BA in psychology from Stonehill College and ultimately received a Masters degree in counseling from Bridgewater State University. She worked as an assistant dean at Stonehill College for many years until her retirement.

She was a devout catholic and was a member of St. Ann’s Parish in Raynham for nearly 50 years. She was also a member of the Edgewood Club in Raynham for over 50 years. She enjoyed playing bridge, golf and tennis. Most of all she loved spending time with her family. She was a loving wife mother, and grandmother and will be dearly missed by all who loved her.

In addition to her husband Edward of 59 years, Marilyn is survived by her children Joseph D’Andrea and wife Linde of Boston, Stephen D’Andrea and wife Gayle of Richmond, VA, Matthew D’Andrea and wife Amy of Martha’s Vineyard, Elizabeth DeFelice and husband David of Sandwich, James D’Andrea of Charleston, SC, 5 grandchildren Marcus, Mia, Matthew, Gabriella, Henry and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings Robert (Mariann), Leona (Michael), and Paul (Joyce).

A visitation will be held on Tuesday April 11, 2017 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the Chapman Cole and Gleason Funeral Home 74 Algonquin Ave. (Rte 151) Mashpee. A funeral mass will follow at Christ the King Church 3 Job’s fishing Rd. Mashpee at 12:30pm. Burial will follow at Great Neck Woods Cemetery in Mashpee.
