Mary-Anne C. Werderman, 62, of North Falmouth died June 16th at Cape Cod Hospital from complications of pneumonia.
Born in Weisbaden, Germany on July 23, 1954, she graduated from Lawrence High School in 1972 and later, Katherine Gibbs College. Mary-Anne worked many years at AT&T and then Verizon until she took an early retirement and went to work for the Steamship Authority.
Mary-Anne is remembered by many for her smile, compassion, and willingness to be there to lend an ear or a helping hand. She enjoyed life, many adventures and many dear, dear friends in MA and NH.
She leaves her brother Chuck and his wife Sari of Mt. Pleasant, SC, sister Barbara Smith and the late Andrew Smith of Mashpee, MA, her sister Fran and her husband Richie, of Charlestown, RI, her sister Liz McIntyre of Salem, NH, her brother Bill and his wife Lisa of Warwick, RI, and her many nieces and nephews; Barbie Hickerman, Casey Werderman, Mark & Kerry Smith, Candy & Danny Phelan, Devin & Katie McIntyre, Tommy Woodham and Nicole Werderman; cousins, Amy, Claudia and Jenny of Colorado.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 from 10 AM until 12 PM, at the Chapman Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 475 Main St., Falmouth, followed by a funeral service in the funeral home at 12 PM. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Falmouth.
