Maryann Cabral Newcomb

Maryann Cabral Newcomb, 58, of Hyannis, formerly of Falmouth, passed away on March 16, 2017.

Maryann was born and raised in Falmouth. She was the daughter of Ann Cabral Kady of Falmouth and the late Manuel Carbral, Jr. of Mashpee.  She was predeceased by her son, Jerome S. Cabral.

She leaves behind her brother, Manuel Cabral III and her sister in-law Jennifer of Mashpee, her sister Michelle Miranda and her brother in-law Clement Demello, Jr. of Falmouth, and her brother Cody Cabral of Attleboro; her grandchildren:  Latisha, Jovanna, Jordan, Jovon and Jocelyn Cabral. Maryann also leaves behind her nieces, Allison Cabral and Kerri Lewis of New Bedford and her nephews, Taylor Cabral and Brendan Cabral of Mashpee.

Maryann loved life and had a beautiful spirit. She lit up a room wherever she went with her smile. She will be greatly missed. Gone but not forgotten. Always in our hearts.

Services will be held on April 1, 2017 from 9-11 a.m., immediately followed by a funeral service at the Chapman Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 475 Main Street, Falmouth. Burial will be private. Donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
