Maryanne B. (Hanlon) Davis

Centerville - Maryanne Barbara (Hanlon) Davis, 79, left her loving family on May 21, 2019 after a brief illness.   

Born December 8, 1939 in Attleboro, MA, Maryanne was the daughter of the late Charles Hanlon and Yvonne (Bishop) Hanlon. She was also predeceased by her brother, Charles J. Hanlon, Sr. of North Attleboro, MA. 

Maryanne received a Bachelor of Science degree in 1961 from the University of Connecticut and worked as an accounting specialist after raising her two children. She was a loving wife and mother who gave so selflessly to everyone around her. She was an avid reader and enjoyed sudoku and crossword puzzles. She was also an amazing cook and often prepared and delivered meals to friends, family and neighbors as a loving and helpful gesture.  

Maryanne is survived by her husband of 58 years, Carl F. Davis; her daughter Heather (Davis) Zacharakis and husband George Zacharakis of Pepperell, MA; her son Andrew Davis of Hyannis, MA; her brother David Hanlon of Waterbury, CT; her grandchildren Paige and Nathan, and many nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Our Lady of Hope Church, 1581 Main Street, West Barnstable, 02668. 

A memorial mass will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Our Lady of Hope Church, West Barnstable, MA.   Interment will be private.
