Michael F. Quinn

Michael F. Quinn, 76, of Osterville, MA died November 1, 2017.  Loving son of the late Mary (Smiddy) Quinn Thompson and stepson of Ernest Thompson. Brother of Sarah Quinn of Ft. Pierce, FL and the late Margaret Almandinger and Rosemary Williams.  He was beloved by many close friends in Barnstable. Michael was born in Ashland MA, and moved to Cape Cod in 1959 after graduating from Framingham High School. He worked as a painter for many years on Cape Cod and was a caretaker extraordinaire for various properties in Barnstable. He was an avid Red Sox fan, and was known to frequently place a wager on various sporting events.  Mike was a daily listener to a local radio station and consistently won their trivia contests. Everyone who knew him would say they never saw him angry or confrontational.  The “Mayor of Pine Lane” was an honest and kind person; he enhanced the life of all he met.

Visiting Hours will be 9:00 to 10:30 am Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at John-Lawrence Funeral Home, 3778 Falmouth Rd., Marstons Mills.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Assumption Church, 76 Wianno Ave., Osterville.  Burial will take place in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
