Millie Cryer

Millie Cryer, of Falmouth, MA peacefully left this earthly plane on Friday, November 1, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Millie, 89, was a retired registered nurse and resident of Falmouth for over fifty years. She was married to the late Robert G. Cryer and is survived by three sons, Robert, James and Steven, and five grandchildren, Corey, Mathew, and Andrew Cryer, Christina Vavricka and Christal Endler. Family was an extremely important part of Millie's life and she was thrilled to know there were two great grandchildren on the way.

She was the daughter of the late Edward and Mary Perry of New Bedford MA, and a graduate of Saint Lukes hospital nursing school. Millie believed in helping and caring for others, and she always had an open door and open arms for her friends and neighbors. As a humanitarian, she would help with food drives to make sure no one went hungry and worked with her fellow parishioners at St. Patrick’s Church doing important charitable work.

She shared with everyone who knew her a boundless appreciation and love for all people from all walks of life, and believed it was our responsibility to help make the world a better place. Her legacy of love and compassion will live on in the hearts and minds of her family and friends throughout eternity.

Visiting hours will be held from 4-7 PM on Thursday, November 7th in the Chapman Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 584 West Falmouth Hwy. (Route 28A), WEST FALMOUTH. A funeral Mass will celebrated at 8:00 AM on Friday, November 8th at St. Patrick’s Church, 511 Main Street, FALMOUTH (meet at church, 7:45AM). Burial will follow at 9:30 AM in the VA National Cemetery, Bourne, MA.
