Nancy R. Andrade

Nancy R. (Reine) Andrade, 87, of Falmouth, died on November 3, 2018 at the Falmouth Hospital. She was the former wife of the late Arthur E. Andrade, Jr. Born in Falmouth, the daughter of the late Manuel F. and Adeline (Dalomba-Neves) Reine.

Nancy was a graduate of Lawrence High School class of 1950. She worked as an administrative assistant for Falmouth Hospital and later at New England Fisheries in Woods Hole, retiring in 1994. Nancy had a strong work ethic and was known for helping people. She was a member of AARP, Falmouth Senior Center and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees (NARFE). She especially enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends.

Nancy is survived by her four children, Nancy M. (Penny) Lopes and her late husband Bill of Teaticket, Kevin P. Andrade and his wife Kristina G. of Falmouth, Arthur E. “Chip” Andrade III and his wife Julie of E. Falmouth, Manuel J. Andrade of Plymouth; six grandchildren: William M. Lopes, Jr., Kristian P. Andrade, Tyler M. Andrade, Brendan M. Andrade, Jessica M. Ryan, and the late Jared M. Andrade; and 6 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of Marion Mintz, Manuel and John Reine, all of E. Falmouth, and the late Melvin Reine. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2018 from 7:30 am to 9:30 am in the Chapman Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 475 Main Street Falmouth, MA, followed by a funeral Mass at 10:00 am at St. Anthony’s Church, 167 East Falmouth Hwy (Route 28),  East Falmouth. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Jones Road in Falmouth.
