Noah Bell, Jr. 68 , of Osterville passed away peacefully on October 28, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Noah was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on December 26, 1949 to the late Noah & Victoria Bell, with the family moving to the Cape in 1962. Noah graduated from Barnstable High School in 1969 where he was a star basketball and track athlete. He later attended Northeast Broadcasting School where love for music grew along with his engaging speaking skills and sense of humor. Noah’s personal slogan was “It’s Nice to Be Nice” and he was, but sometimes he would tell you what he thought you needed to hear. Noah had many friends and was willing to help others at a moment’s notice.
In addition to his loving partner of 40 years, Lynne Perry, he is survived by four children, Noah III, Angel Bell Johnson, Lauren Bell and Tyler Robertson; three grandchildren; Lovell Johnson, Deon Johnson and Chozen Bell. He is also survived by four brothers, Walter and Perry Bell of Hyannis; Leroy Baucom and Ricky Bell of CA, six sisters; Debrah Campbell of Hyannis, Dorris Bell, of New Bedford, Peggy Ferguson of Fall River, Nellie Sampson, of CA; Betty Hayes of WI; Vicky Bell of VA; many nieces and nephews; and extended family. Noah was predeceased by his siblings, Anthony Bell and Rosemary Bell. Three uncles Willie, Theodus, and Melvin Alexander of St. Louis, MO; and two aunts Margaret Harold, and Erma Jean Moore of St. Louis, MO.
Noah proudly served the U.S. Army in Vietnam and later was the owner of Noah Bell Trucking & Property Maintenance until retirement.
In recent years Noah would often be found at the beach in his truck reading his paper, enjoying the sun and engaging with others. He will be remembered as a generous and caring friend who loved life and touched the lives of all he knew and he will be missed.

A funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 10:30 AM at the Funeral Home. Interment at Oak Neck Cemetery in Hyannis will follow the service.
