Patricia A. (Gill) Zemeitus of Plymouth formerly of Carver and Abington passed into eternal life on March 16, 2019 at her daughter’s house in Plymouth after 13 1/2 years battle with cancer.
Patricia was born on May 11, 1958 in Nuebrucke, Germany while her Dad was serving in the US Army, they settled in Hanover and later Weymouth. Pat was a graduate of Weymouth South High School, Class of 1976. She raised her daughter Annemarie in Abington where she was very active within St. Bridget children’s choir. Later, after marrying Joseph Zemeitus on May 21, 1994, she would settle in Carver and later Plymouth. Pat loved her church, and was a CCD teacher at St. John the Evangelists in East Bridgewater for many years. For over 15 years she also worked for Michael Callahan Esq. in Abington as an administrator.
Pat also cared for all her grandchildren for many years. She was caring, strong-willed, highly organized, and was a tremendous cook and baker.
She is survived by her spouse, Joseph R. Zemeitus, Sr. of Plymouth. She was the daughter of the late Bernard M. and Marcia R. (Ford) Gill. Patricia was the ever-loving and devoted mother to her daughter, Annemarie and her husband Brian R. Casey of Plymouth. In addition, she is also survived by the greatest joys in her earthly life, those who called her “Grandma”, Brianna Nicole, Garrett Joseph, Jaccob Gill, Jayce Henry, and Jordan Nicholas all of Plymouth.
Family and friends are cordially invited to the Prophett-Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 35 Spring St. East Bridgewater on Mon. March 25th at 9am. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Saint John the Evangelist Church, 210 Central Street, East Bridgewater, at 10:00am.
