Patricia L. Perry

Patricia L. Perry of Cotuit, MA and Vero Beach, FL died peacefully on November 5, 2018. She is the beloved wife of Arthur J. Perry.

Pat was born in Evaston, IL on January 25, 1947 to the late Jean and Ernest Lang. She obtained a B.A. in theology from Wells College of Aurora, NY, and received both a B.A. and M.S. in Education from Boston University, Boston, MA. Pat was a dedicated teacher for 32 years at East Falmouth Elementary School.

In her retirement Pat loved to be involved in her community and gave generously of her time. She volunteered with the Cotuit Historical Society, Highfield Hall in Falmouth, MA, The Bird and Garden Club of Cotuit, and The Hibiscus Children’s Center in Vero Beach, FL.

Pat had great curiosity and traveled the world enjoying learning in great detail about the many places she visited. She enjoyed gardening, loved to dance and perform, enjoyed the theatre, but more than anything Pat loved being with friends and family and gathering everyone together, especially on the holidays.

This beautiful, bright, kind and well-loved woman will be greatly missed by Arthur’s very big family of sisters, brother, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, many nieces and nephews as well as the many friends Pat gathered over the years.

A memorial service will be held at the Cotuit Federated Church, 40 School Street, Cotuit, MA on Friday, November 30, 2018 at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Pat’s memory may be made to the Hibiscus Children’s Center, 1145 12th Street, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
