Patricia M Cahoon

DENNIS, Patricia "Patti" M. Cahoon, 81, of Dennis passed away in her home on June 29th. She was born in Ware, MA, the daughter of Armond and Irene Bousquet. After graduating from St. Ann's Academy in Marlborough, she married and raised her family in Ware. In 1976, Patti ventured to Cape Cod where she permanently stuck her toes in the sand.

After moving to the Cape, she met and married the love of her life, the late Marshall Cahoon. Patti enjoyed working for the Town of Dennis, Wayside Studio, and Barnstable County Mutual Insurance Agency, from which she retired. Traveling to Aruba, dining out, and spending time with her family were her greatest pleasures. She will be remembered for always having a smile and a kind word for everyone, a great sense of humor and being "quick with the wit".

Patti leaves behind her family; daughter, Kathleen Milligan and her husband Chuck; daughter, Maxine Beynor and her husband Dennis; her grandchildren, Jeffrey, Samantha, Dennis, Jacklyn, Jessica and Hayley; her brother, Robert Bousquet; her sisters, Sylvia Cote and Francine Polek; many nieces, nephews, and close friends. She was predeceased by her brother, Richard Bousquet.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, July 12th from 1:00 - 3:00 at Morris, O'Connor & Blute Funeral Home, 678 Main St., Harwich, to share memories and celebrate Patti's life. Burial will be private at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the COPD Foundation or to a charity of one's choice.
