Patricia M. Christy

Patricia M. Christy (Lonergan) of Bridgewater died June 24, 2018 in her home at the age of 70. Patricia was born in Brockton, daughter of the late Jane (Ryan) and James W. Lonergan. Patricia was raised and educated in Canton and had lived in Bridgewater the past 15 years where she moved from Plymouth. 

She  lived and worked in Boston for many years as a real estate agent and later owned and operated her own real estate company Community Realtors in Revere.   She  graduated from the Soldiers' Home in Massachusetts School of Practical Nursing in 1996 and worked for many years as a geriatric  Licensed Practical Nurse  at several South Shore  nursing homes and nursing agencies.  Patricia was a devoted volunteer for  the Standish Humane Society of Duxbury for many years.  Pat shared her generous and compassionate spirit with every person or animal that she encountered. Sister of Carol Bois and her husband Philip of Bridgewater. She is survived by many uncles, aunts and cousins and will be dearly missed by her friends.

 Funeral from the Prophett-Chapman Cole & Gleason Funeral Home 98 Bedford Street Bridgewater Friday at 9:00am.

Funeral Mass in St. Thomas Aquinas Church at 10:00am.

Visiting hours Thursday from 4-7pm. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Canton.
