Paul Anthony Christensen

Paul Anthony Christensen, 74, of West Yarmouth, died November 12, 2019. He was the husband of Stephanie (Lockwood) Christensen to whom he was married for 53 years.

In 1964 he graduated from Dennis Yarmouth High School. While in high school he was on the varsity gymnastics team and competed on the high bar and rings. For over 30 years he worked at South Shore Auto Parts in South Yarmouth, starting his career at AF Germans in Hyannis and became known as “Paulie Parts.” He also worked for many years at Chris Bullock Toyota. Playing cribbage with his dad and close friends and rooting for the New England Patriots were some of his favorite pastimes, but the time he spent with his grandchildren and great-grandson were the most enjoyable.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children and their spouses, Robb and Beth Christensen of Buzzards Bay, and Kelly and Christopher Foster of Yarmouth Port; grandchildren, Tyler Foster, Travis Foster, Sydney Stowe, and Sophie Stowe; great-grandson, Carter Foster; brothers and their wives, Donn and Jacqueline, Bruce and Christine, Dean and April, Shawn and Cara; and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be from 5:00 - 8:00 pm on Friday, December 6, 2019 at Morris, O’Connor & Blute Funeral Home, 58 Long Pond Drive, South Yarmouth, MA 02664. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 7th at St. Pius X Church, 98 Station Ave., South Yarmouth. Burial is private. Donations may be made to The Yarmouth Firefighters Relief Association 96 Old Main St. South Yarmouth, MA 02664.
