Phoebe L. Crowley

Phoebe L. (Medeiros) Crowley died Monday August 6, 2018 in the Boston Medical Center at the age of 97.  Phoebe was a life long resident of Bridgewater graduating from Bridgewater Academy.  In her younger years she worked in the shoe industry.  She was a communicant of St. Thomas Aquinas Church.  You could always find her on her front porch chatting with friends and neighbors.

She was the wife of the late George J. Crowley J,r and mother of Michael G. Crowley of Bridgewater, Maureen Baggia and her husband Edward of East Bridgewater and Timothy Crowley of Lakeville and her sister in law Elizabeth Crowley Finn of East Bridgewater. She was also predeceased by her sister Mary Cabral Souza and  her brothers Joseph Medeiros and Manuel Medeiros.  Loving Grandmother to Kelly Crowley, Bonnie Crowley Raffetto , Michael P. Crowley, Adam Crowley, Tricia Baggia Eddy, Joel Baggia, Samantha Crowley Menard, Jacquie Crowley and  the late Patrick M. Crowley. Cookie Grandma to Brandon, Katelin, DJ, Jonathon, Justine, Brendan, Brianna, Benjamin, Danielle, George, Tessa and Olivia as well as 2 great great grandchildren. 

She was very proud of her family and will be missed by them as well as her St. Joseph Manor family and all that knew and loved her.

Funeral from the Prophett-Chapman Cole & Gleason Funeral Home 98 Bedford Street Bridgewater Saturday at 9:00am.

Funeral Mass in St. Thomas Aquinas Church at 10:00am. Visiting hours Friday 4-7pm.

Burial  will follow in Old St. Thomas Cemetery.

 In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Activity Fund at St. Joseph Manor, 215 Thatcher St., Brockton MA 02302
