Ralph M. Marks

Ralph Michael Marks, 69, of East Falmouth passed away from heart complications on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at the Falmouth Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Mary (Maseda) Marks for 48 years. He was born in Wareham, the son of the late Frank S. Marks, Jr. and Lillian (Medeiros) Marks.

Ralph was a Tech Sergeant in the Air National Guard, serving for over 21 years. He worked for the Town of Falmouth from 1971-1998, then for the Bourne Water District until 2010. He was a life member of the Cape Cod Beagle Club. He also enjoyed Boston sports, coaching and umpiring little league and Babe Ruth games, but especially traveling to Aruba and going on cruises.

In addition to his wife, Ralph is survived by his children:  Kristine Fletcher (David) of Westport, MA, Richard Marks, Peter Marks, and Darcie Marks, all of Falmouth; grandchildren:  Taylor, Kaleigh, Cameron, Matthew, Lauren, Emma, Christian, Brendan, Landon, Amayah, and Alexah; his brother, Timothy Marks (Laureen) of Mashpee; and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held from 4-7pm on Monday, June 24th at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 584 West Falmouth Hwy (Route 28A), West Falmouth. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10am on Tuesday, June 25th at St. Anthony’s Church, 167 East Falmouth Hwy (Route 28), East Falmouth. Interment will be held at a later date in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ralph’s name to the Heart Brothers Foundation at www.heartbrothers.org or please apply funds to your next getaway in Ralph’s memory and his love of travel.
