Raymond Donald Atkinson

Raymond Donald Atkinson of Hatchville, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 as a result of a motor vehicle accident.  He was 32.

Raymond was born and raised in Falmouth, the son of Karen Mendoza of East Falmouth and the late Russell Atkinson. Ray worked as a plumber for Panton Plumbing & Heating in Falmouth for 15 years.  He graduated from Falmouth High School, class of 2002.  He was an Eagle Scout of Varsity Team #1.  Played Falmouth High School Varsity Football. 

He enjoyed a Sunday cruise on the scoots with his brother Craig.  He will be missed by all, especially missed will be his big heart and huge Smile.  Rest In Peace.

Besides his mother Karen, Raymond is survived by his brother, Craig Warren Atkinson of Hatchville, his 2 grandmothers, Lois Atkinson and Mary Mendoza, aunts, uncles, many cousins and lots of friends.

Visiting hours will be from 5:00-8:00 PM on Tuesday, January 3rd in the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 584 West Falmouth Hwy. (Route 28A), WEST FALMOUTH.  A Funeral Service will take place at 9:30 AM on Wednesday, January 4th in the John Wesley United Methodists Church, 270 Gifford Street, Falmouth, MA. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pluming Program of the Upper Cape Cod Regional Technical School, 220 Sandwich Road, Bourne, MA 02532
