Rebecca J. Silva

Rebecca Jane Silva, of Teaticket, MA, died on Tuesday May 2, 2017 at Falmouth Hospital. She was 49 years old. She was born on April 1, 1968 in Attleboro, Ma. She attended Falmouth High School; class of 1986, and was pursuing a degree at Cape Cod Community College.
Becky Served in the United State Army for 23 years and was deployed to Iraq in 2004. She served as the first female district commander of the VFW, was a member of the Falmouth Veterans Council, one of the founding members of Veteran Collaborative on Cape Cod, and in 2012 she was recognized as an Unsung Hero.
A unique soul, Becky had the biggest heart, loved her country, touched so many friends and strangers with her contagious laugh and love for listening and helping anyone who crossed paths with her. She had a passion for all animals and truly enjoyed horseback riding and spending time at Smithfield Farm. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
Becky is survived by her mother and step father, Mary and Robert Adams of Teaticket, Ma, brothers Neill and Richard Silva, sister Maria Nobile, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Neill Silva.
