Richard M. Lewis Jr.

Richard M. Lewis, Jr., fondly known by family and friends as "Richie", passed away peacefully at home in Fairfield, Maine on July 26, 2018, at the age of 54 following a long period of declining health.

Richie was born on December 22, 1963 and raised in Bridgewater, Massachusetts, the beloved son of the late Richard M. Lewis, Sr. and Jacqueline (Jenkins) Lewis. Richie attended the local public schools and graduated from Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High School. Having spent most of his adult life in Maine, Richie loved working in the fields of local farms and helping his fishermen friends haul in their lobster catch of the day. Richie also enjoyed reading, cooking and working on cars.  He will be lovingly remembered for his kind hearted willingness to help others at anytime, his carefree style of living each day to its fullest, his great sense of humor and infectious laugh, and his love of children and animals.

Richie is survived by his mother Jacqueline "Jackie" Lewis and her husband, Roger Provost of Ft. Myers, Florida; his brother Michael S. Lewis and his wife Denise of West Bridgewater; his nephew, John M. Lewis of West Bridgewater; and many loving relatives and friends. Richie was predeceased by his former wife Christine Lewis; and his brother John E. Lewis.

Services will be private.
