Robert A. Palmer

Robert A. Palmer of Brockton died May 19, 2019 in the Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in Brockton at the age of 72. Robert was born in Boston, son of the late Mae (Adams) and George Palmer. He had lived the past 20 years in Brockton.

Bob was a craftsman, spending time as an electrician and a porter. Bob enjoyed the outdoors, nature, animals, cooking and spending time with his family. He was also a veteran of the US Air Force.


Husband of Charlene J. (O'Donnell) of Brockton. Father of Jennifer Donohue and her husband Kevin of Norwood. Brother of Thomas Palmer of NC, John O’Donnell of Taunton and the late Richard Palmer, Abbigail Tessier, Donald Palmer and Joseph Palmer. Grandfather of Olivia, Norah and Kaleb. Robert is also survived by nieces Doreen Jones, Julia Forte and Lynn Palmer, and nephews Donald and Douglas Tessier, David Palmer, and others, as well as many dear friends.

Visiting hours will be held in the East Bridgewater Prophett-Chapman Cole & Gleason Funeral Home 35 Spring Street East Bridgewater Thursday June 6th from 4-7pm.

  A private burial will be held in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
