Robert C. Aldred

Robert C. Aldred, 81, of Wareham, died Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River.  He was the husband of Genevieve F. Aldred.

Born in Somerville, he was the son of the late George and Dora (McCullough) Aldred.  A graduate of Waltham High School, he moved to Wareham in 1970.  He was a cable inspector for Boston Edison for many years.

Mr. Aldred enjoyed boating and spending time in his yard.

Survivors include his wife, Genevieve Aldred; his sister, Dorothy Santillo of Venice, FL, his children, George Aldred, Michael Aldred, Mark Aldred and Linda Aldred all of Saugus; his step-daughter, Cheryl Chambers of Onset; 10 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be from the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway (Rt. 28), Wareham on Sat., Nov. 10, 2018 at 9  AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony’s Church, Gault Road, W. Wareham at 10 AM.  Interment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Wareham.  Visiting hours will be Friday from 4 – 7 PM.
