Robert C. Greymont

1939 ∼ 2018

Robert Charles Greymont, 79, of Falmouth, formerly of Needham, died on October 31, 2018 at the Falmouth Hospital. He was the husband of Sally Ann (Fahy) Greymont for 54 years.  Born in Boston, the son of the late Walter and Milda (Lassman) Greymont.

Bob was a friend to anyone he met. He was a perfectionist who encouraged each of us to be the best we can be at whatever we choose to do. He was never afraid to fail and there was never a challenge too big to take on. Bob served state side in the 101st Airborne Division during Vietnam. He was a firefighter and then started his own company, Hartney Greymont Tree. He was an avid sailor who sailed around the world single-handed.

Besides his wife, he survived by his children, Vicki Greymont and her fiancé David Sullivan of Medfield, Terry Greymont and his wife Heather of Millis, and Jill Abely and her husband Sean of Medfield. He was ‘Grandpaw’ to Brian and Nicole Abely, and Harrison and Parker Greymont. He also leaves his brother Alfred Greymont and his wife Wilma of New Hampshire, and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, Nov. 10th from 11:00am to 1:00pm in the Chapman Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 475 Main Street, Falmouth, MA followed by a funeral service at 1:00pm in the funeral home.
